I’ve always been
drawn to people.
The unexpected ones. The magnetic ones. The ones with a story that stays with you. Finding them—and seeing what’s possible—is the work.
Nathan Johnson is a casting and development executive, producer and founder of +ONE LLC. His 25+ years in entertainment span studio features, unscripted television, talent discovery, field producing and original development.
At Warner Bros., he progressed from the feature casting office to leadership roles, working across a slate that included Batman Begins, The Departed, Happy Feet and 300. On MTV’s Emmy-winning MADE, he cast more than 110 episodes, traveling nationwide to discover people with an ambition worth following.
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences recognized Nathan for his contributions as Field Casting Producer to MTV’s Emmy Award-winning MADE (Outstanding Special Class Series, 2012–2013 Daytime Emmy Awards).
As Head of Casting & Talent Development at DiGa, Nathan built the ensemble for Oxygen’s Player Gets Played. He also co-founded Rhinestone Revolver, developing talent and projects with an enduring creative rule: never be boring.
Today, +ONE brings that experience to character-driven television and creative partnerships. The approach is personal, collaborative and hands-on: discover the people, understand their world, and shape a show with a reason to exist.
